My Story
For years I was a healer working quietly in the shadows, sitting with one soul at a time. The fire I tended there is the fire I now carry to the leaders, icons and visionaries of our time.
The Naming · 2016
In 2016 I began hosting ceremonies in a La Jolla penthouse overlooking the ocean. Again and again, the people who sat in those circles came to me with the same word. They began calling me the Shaman of La Jolla, and I received the name as an honor and a responsibility.
The Lineage
Before I was a guide to guides, I was a student, an apprentice and a firekeeper. Six years at the feet of living masters shaped everything I offer.
The Andean medicine wheel
A roadman who studied deep in the Amazon jungle. For two and a half years he taught me the Andean medicine wheel.
The Lakota way
Of South Dakota, connected with the Lakota. I was his last male mentee.
The sacred fire
I served as her firekeeper. Her circles have held people from the UN, politicians, celebrities and the family down the street, all with the same love.
The oracle
She initiated me into her oracle lineage, the root of the divination and sacred seeing I offer today.
The grandmother
I walked beside her as her assistant, learning the ways of the grandmothers.
Learning Through Living
I've spent much of my life exploring the mysteries of consciousness, the wisdom of ancient traditions, and the extraordinary potential of the human spirit. Yet some of my greatest teachings haven't come from spiritual masters, sacred ceremonies or books. They've come from living.
From loving deeply.Falling down.Getting back up.Facing my fears.Questioning my beliefs.Surrendering to the unknown.And finding the courage to reinvent myself again and again.
True mastery isn't about having everything figured out. It's about cultivating the presence, courage, compassion and awareness to meet life as it unfolds.
A Transformation
She had everything money could buy: the yachts, the homes, the planes, every designer bag she ever wanted. She also had visions. Premonitions came to her, and they came true. The people closest to her feared for her mind, and her body had stopped letting her run.
Where others saw confusion, I saw a geyser ready to erupt.
Together we walked through the valley of the shadow of death. On the other side, I witnessed her rise like an angel. Kundalini awakened through her, sacred scripture poured from her lips, and after our first session, she ran again.

My wife, Mariposa, is a Mexican tantric priestess. Together we hold our private retreats and the family-legacy healing at the heart of The Legacy, the masculine and the feminine side by side.
